Seanchaí (shan-a-key) were traditional Irish storytellers. The Seanchaí is an important link in Irish cultural heritage and continues to play a dominant role in the oral tradition, bringing old stories to life.
The Seanchaí Collective is a not for profit organisation, we believe in the transformative nature of storytelling. Our commitment is to celebrating lived experiences, combining the spirit of the Seanchaí with modern day experiences.
People come to harm when they are not listened to or ignored and change comes to too late or worse still, never at all. With expertise in participation and co-production using our lived experience we offer unique training opportunities and workshops.
If you have lived, you have a story to tell.
The Seanchaí Collective place lived experience at the centre of all learning, there's no better expert than those who have lived it.
